Ronald G. Levi is a landscape/nature photographer who specializes in natural and scenic photography. His images have appeared in Audubon, BrownTrout Calendars, Down East Books, Indiana PBS Television, The Photographerrs Market, Teldon International and many other publications. Ron’s photography has been exhibited in one man shows at the University of Cincinnati clermont College Art Gallery, the Cincinnati Nature Center, Oxford Community Arts Center, Dayton Art Institute, Glen Helen Atrium Gallery and other southwest Ohio galleries. His fine art giclee’ prints are in museums, public buildings and private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Canada.
He did most of the beautiful landscape photography for "A Place Called Home", a book project for Orange Frazer Press. The book is all about Clinton County, Ohio. It features many beautiful landcape images by Ronald. The book, "Seasons Along the Little Miami" and subtitled "National Wild and Scenic River and it's Watershed" was photographed and edited by him for the conservation organization, Little Miami Conservancy.
Ron now photographs using the following formats: medium format and 35mm digital cameras. He concentrates his work to scenic areas, national parks, wildlife refuges and preserves in the United States and Canada. He is interested in helping people appreciate and understand the importance of preserving our fragile natural world for future generations. Ron for many years was the photographer for Little Miami Conservancy. LMC is a conservation organization which acquires and preserves land adjacent to, and protects the habitats in and along the Little Miami State and National Scenic River in Ohio. He also has been a guest speaker at the Kentucky Parks Photo Weekends. Ron is requested to lecture and present his digital image programs of areas he has traveled to various groups in the area.
He energetically trains in digital imaging and possesses the state of the art equipment needed to produce fine art giclee’ prints. Each year Ron travels many miles to photograph new images of nature and the North American landscape. These include lighthouses, covered bridges, rurul scenes, fishing villages, historical buildings, coastal, desert scenes and landscapes. These stock images will be used in future calendars, book projects and otherr printed media. He currently lives in Springboro, Ohio with his wife Becky and their Aussiedoodle, Ollie.
