Ronald G. Levi is a landscape/nature photographer living in Springboro, Ohio who specializes in natural and scenic photography. His images have appeared in Audubon, BrownTrout Calendars, Down East Books, Teldon Marketing, Country Magazine, Impact Photographics, Indiana PBS Television, The Photographers Market and many other publications. Ron’s fine art images have been featured in a solo exhibitions at the University of Cincinnati clermont College Art Gallery, the cincinnati Nature center ,Oxford Community Arts Center, Dayton art Institute, Glen Helen Atrium Gallery and other area galleries. His fine art giclee’ prints are in museums, public buildings and private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Canada. “A Place Called Home”, a book project for Orange Frazer Press about Clinton County, Ohio features many beautiful landscape images by Ronald. A more recent book, " Seasons Along the Little Miami" was photographed and edited by him for Little Miami Inc. He is currently working on another coffee table sized book project that will be released in about a year.
Ron photographs using 35mm digital and medium format digital cameras. He concentrates his work to scenic areas, national parks, wildlife refuges and preserves in the Midwest and eastern portions of the United States and Canada. he is interested in helping people appreciate and understand the importance of preserving our fragile natural world for future generations. Ron is the photographer for Little Miami, Inc. LMI is a conservation organization which acquires and preserves land adjacent to, and protects the habitats in and along the Little Miami Wild and Scenic River in Ohio. He also lectures and gives digital slide presentations at state parks and other venues. Outdoor juried art shows have been replaced by solo gallery exhibitions.
To keep up with ever changing technology, he energetically trains in digital imaging and possesses the state of the art equipment needed to produce fine art giclee’ prints. Each year Ron travels many miles to acquire new images of our natural and man made world. These include stock and fine art images of lighthouses, covered bridges, rural scenes, fishing villages waterfalls flora, fauna, barns and coastal scenes and landscapes. These images will be used in future calendars, book projects and other printed media. .
